研究领域与兴趣

长期从事农药化学生物学及农药靶标结构生物学研究解析了100多个不同种属对羟苯基丙酮酸双加氧酶(HPPD)与小分子(底物、中间体、产物、抑制剂、天然产物等)的复合物晶体结构,结合AlphaFold2技术构建了迄今最完善的HPPD三维结构数据库,为基于结构和酶催化反应机理的HPPD抑制剂设计奠定了坚实的理论基础。此外,还系统揭示了团队自主创制的新型除草剂喹草酮和吡唑喹草酯的作用机制。先后主持了国家自然科学基金、湖北省自然科学基金、湖北省重点研发计划等多个科研项目,以第一作者或通讯作者身份先后在JACSJAFCFEBS JStructureTrends Biochem SciCCLResearch等国际知名期刊发表SCI论文10多篇。荣获科创中国·湖北科技经济融合优秀项目一等奖 (2023,排名第4)
